This Privacy Policy explains how Artventori Inc. ("Artventori," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform to manage artwork, build digital showcases, collaborate with clients and collectors, and process payments for your subscription.

Information we collect

Account information: Contact details, login credentials, and profile preferences you provide when creating an account.
Content you upload: Artwork images, metadata, descriptions, and layout choices used to create showcases, plus any magic edits or alternate versions you generate.
Usage and device data: Activity within the app (such as pages viewed, features used, and engagement with shared showcases), as well as browser, device, and technical diagnostics that help us secure and improve the service.
Website analytics: Visits to our marketing pages, referral sources, campaign parameters, pages viewed, and buttons clicked. We use anonymous visitor and session identifiers for first-party analytics and do not store raw IP addresses for marketing analytics.
Payment information: Billing contact details and transaction references processed through our payment provider; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Support interactions: Information you share when contacting us, including email correspondence and relevant account context.
Connected app activity: The apps you authorize, approved permissions, account and record identifiers, actions requested through those apps, and security audit results. We store revocable authorization grants, not your ChatGPT password or conversation credentials.

How we use information

Provide, maintain, and personalize your Artventori workspace and digital showcases.
Process subscriptions, free accounts, promotional trials, refunds, and account changes through our billing provider.
Improve features like gallery layouts, bulk uploads, and magic edits, including quality and performance tuning.
Understand which marketing pages, sources, and calls to action help visitors evaluate Artventori.
Communicate with you about updates, security notices, onboarding tips, and support responses.
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues that could impact your collections.
Carry out actions you request through authorized AI assistants and connected apps.

When we share information

Service providers: Trusted vendors that support hosting, analytics, customer support, billing, and content delivery. These partners only use data as instructed to operate the service.
Legal or compliance reasons: To comply with laws, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Artventori, our users, or others.
Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to continued protection of your data under this Policy or equivalent safeguards.
Your direction: When you publish or share a showcase, we display the content and related metadata to the audiences you choose (e.g., public links or password-gated access).
AI assistants and connected apps: When you explicitly connect a service such as ChatGPT, we provide the account data needed for your request. Depending on the permissions you approve, this can include artwork images and metadata, prices, profiles, contacts, locations, exhibitions, showcases, attachments, and account settings. The connected service processes that information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Data retention

We retain account and content data while your account remains active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period unless retention is required for legal, accounting, or security purposes. Backups may take additional time to purge.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures—such as encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring—to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so we encourage you to use strong passwords and keep sharing links confidential when appropriate.

Your choices

Access, update, or delete account details directly in the app or by contacting us at hello@artventori.com.
Request export of your data or removal of uploaded content, subject to applicable retention requirements.
Manage marketing communications by using unsubscribe links in emails we send.
Review and revoke AI assistant and connected-app access at any time from My Account → Connected apps.

International use

Artventori is operated from Canada and may store or process information in other regions through our service providers. By using the service, you agree to these transfers, which occur under protections consistent with this Policy.

Children's privacy

Artventori is intended for organizations and individuals managing art collections and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices or legal requirements. We will post the updated date above and, when material changes occur, provide additional notice through the app or via email.
